That's why we offer compostable smoothie cups to go (with lids), sold separately. However, Blend Friend is compatible with most (16 oz to 24 oz) disposable cups (3.9" diameter), so feel free to use any brand you'd like.

Using Cups Made From Plants - We know what you may be thinking. "Disposable cups are horrible for the planet!" We totally get it, and that is why have our own PLA cup line (sold separately). PLA is 100% made from plants and can be composted. You'll get all the convenience of a disposable cup, yet have minimal impact on the Earth. Note: These cups need to be placed into an industrial compost bin.

But you don't have to use ours. The Blend Friend works with most (16 - 24oz) plastic cups (3.9" diameter). So use whatever brand that suits you best!

"What cups work with the Blend friend?" The Blend Friend works with most common-sized disposable cups ranging from 16oz to 24 oz. Including cups made from plants. Whatever cups you use, they should have the following dimensions: Top diameter of 98mm (3.9in) and a maximum height of 6.1in.

TIPS: If blending with ice or frozen food, place the frozen items into the cup first. This will reduce the risk of the cup breaking.
